Melt butter until light brown.
Add sugar, add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Add Karo, vanilla, and pecans.
Pour evenly into unbaked pie crusts.
Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 min.
until brown and firm.

Dry Roasted Pecans (Microwave Style)
2 cups Pecan halves or pieces
Place pecans in round glass pie dish (microwave
safe). Place in microwave on high for 5 - 6
minutes, stir half-way during cooking time.
Cool. Eat as is or use in other recipes.
VARIATION: Add 1 Tbsp. salt
and 1/2 stick butter for toasted butter flavored
pecans.
VARIATION: Melt 3 squares of
chocolate almond bark in microwave for 1 1/2
minutes. Add toasted pecan halves and spoon
onto wax paper. Quick cool in freezer for
delicious chocolate covered pecans.
Orange Glazed Pecans (Microwave Style)
2 cups Pecan halves
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup orange juice
Combine sugar and orange juice in 1 quart microwave
safe dish, mixing well. Add pecans, coating
with mixture. Microwave on medium for 5
minutes. Stir and cook on medium for 7 - 8
minutes until syrup crystalizes. Spread
separated glazed nuts on buttered cookie sheet to
cool. Makes a great holiday gift or party snack!
